Dr. Shorser, D.D.S
Dr. Shorser enjoys practising family and cosmetic dentistry, evident by his varied roster of patients. For over 20 years, Dr. Shorser has played a critical role in the overall dental health of many patients in Etobicoke and surrounding areas. Over the years, Dr. Shorser has consistently updated his knowledge and incorporated new techniques and materials through continuing education workshops, seminars, and lectures.
State-of-the-Art Equipment for Your Optimal Dental Health
In addition to a pleasant and calming décor, Dr. Shorser’s new location has state-of-the-art equipment including, but not limited to, digital radiographs, an intra-oral camera and an extensive ventilation system to provide clinical air quality. With the move to Dr. M. Shorser Dentistry by the Lake, Dr. Shorser has added new team members who share his dedication to competency and quality of work for all patients in his care.

When Dr. Shorser isn’t practising dentistry, you can find him by the lake, exercising or taking in a good novel or non-fiction book. Dr. Shorser is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, the Ontario Dental Association, and the Toronto West Dental Society.
Dr. Kevin Trinh, D.D.S
Dr. Kevin Trinh has joined our team as an associate Dentist at Dentistry by the Lake.
He is trilingual in English, French, and Vietnamese.
Dr. Trinh obtained his Degree in Dentistry from the University of Montreal. He practiced at two other offices before working in the public sector in the North of Quebec treating Inuit communities.
Dr. Trinh is registered with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. He continues to take continuing education courses to provide the best care for his patients. His scope of practice includes restorations, esthetic dentistry, crowns and bridges, implants, and partial and complete dentures.
Dr. Trinh currently works Monday to Thursday and every other Saturday at our office.
Dr. Chantal Dimitri, D.D.S
Dr. Chantal Dimitri has joined our team as an associate Dentist at Dentistry by the Lake. She speaks English, French, Arabic, and a little Spanish.
She obtained her Degree in Dentistry from the University of Laval in Quebec City. She has worked in offices in Montreal and Baie-Comeau. Dr. Dimitri is registered with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. Her scope of practice is restorations and surgery.
She currently is working Fridays at our office.
Yamel – Dental Assistant
Yamel works as a Dental Assistant in our office. She received her level 2 Assisting certificate from Oxford College. Yamel was born and raised in Cuba and loves to speak Spanish with patients. She was a university professor in Cuba before moving to Canada.
She is passionate about both teaching and dentistry. When she moved to Canada, she knew she wanted to go back to school and discovered her passion for dentistry. Yamel can be found reading self-help, adventure, and science fiction literature when she is not at the office. She also likes riding her bike and taking walks around the neighbourhood!
Karen Delyea, CDA, Office Manager
Karen started her career in dentistry as a chairside dental assistant in a much simpler time. Over the years, dentistry has evolved extensively, including procedures, products, and technology. As a certified dental assistant (CDA), Karen continues to upgrade her dental knowledge and skills through continuing education courses. She has upgraded her skillset in a variety of areas, including oral facial anatomy, radiography, and office management. With over 25 years of experience as an office manager for Dr. Shorser, Karen has taken the lead in computerizing the office and helped coordinate the move to our new location at Dr. M. Shorser Dentistry by the Lake.
Karen’s familiar smile has always welcomed our long-time patients who have supported us through our transition to a new location. At Dr. M. Shorser Dentistry by the Lake, Karen has the privilege of meeting the many new people who are joining Dr. Shorser’s dental family.
Karen is happily married to her husband John and is mom to Adam, Bryce, and gramma to Harrison and Evelyn. She enjoys reading, gardening, and home décor. When on vacation from Dr. M. Shorser Dentistry by the Lake, Karen can be found on the ocean. She loves to travel and enjoys the convenience of a well-appointed cruise ship.
Deliana - Hygienist
Deliana has been a member of Dr. Shorser's team since 2006. She began her career as a dental assistant and went back to school to become a dental hygienist shortly after. Deliana enjoys educating her patients and building a personal rapport with them. Seeing them every few months and how her recommendations improves their oral health brings her great joy and satisfaction! Deliana recently became a proud mom to two lively little boys and enjoys spending time with them, her husband and little dog.
